Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders
Nearly 1 in 20 students have been prenatally exposed to alcohol. Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) are more common than autism and Down syndrome combined, yet most know very little about this disability and the information that is widely known is outdated.
Healthy Minds Consulting specializes in designing effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with FASD. If you are a parent, caregiver, education professional, or service provider who participates in IEP development, we can provide the training, consultation and insight needed for you to create FASD-informed IEPs.

- FASD-Informed Consultation – This specific consultation is designed to coalesce documentation and FASD insight to transform the hidden disability and illuminate the needs of the student to guide IEP teams toward effective interventions and approaches.
- FASD Knowledge Share Collective – This is an ongoing networking opportunity available to anyone interested in FASD.
- Supervision for Educational Advocates – This service is for Educational Advocates who are interested in increasing their awareness and understanding of FASD while expanding their scope of practice.
